I'm not sure I understand. Greg, is this a protest against the idea that Congress should work faster than it does? You feel legislation has kept pace with the world's changes?
@Manganeez It just seems like Obama is trying to rush things through and maybe getting things right (allowing time for consideration and debate) is more important than the velocity of Congress (like laws per month or some other unit of measure).
Hell, I'd be happy with "This is important, and we shouldn't waste time, but at least read and understand the damn thing first."
Of course, I think that's kind of the point. Just sign the thousand page bill and take the party's word that it's in your best interest. We'll scratch your back later. I promise!

Instead of "act quickly" how about "act rightly"?
I guess that explains sitting dumbfounded for seven minutes while we're being attacked. Ok, that was a leap, but I wanted to say it anyway.
