This blog has always striven to uphold the highest standards of truthiness. However, in light of the recent flap over climate change data, I feel I must come clean. This disc golf scorecard that I uploaded 2008-10-11 is partially faked:



The scores of Cory, Nels, Ken Climo, and Obama were fabricated. Everything else on the scorecard is true. I apologize for the deception. (Satan really did shoot a 51. He was on fire!)

Matt Bonner was plus 26 in the Spurs' game tonight.

So far this year he has the second best plus/minus per minute of any Spur (he's only behind Tony Parker).

Last season he had the best plus/minus of any Spur.

He's only playing 21 minutes a game this season. Maybe Pop should play him more?

"The Game" Goes to Boerne

We played disc golf in Boerne today at a course we've never played before. It was a lot of fun. The course was only nine holes. However, it was really nice and we were the only ones on it. We went up there because of the rain. McClain doesn't drain well. The course in Boerne drained well enough to be playable today.

Definition of Qi

In a recent scrabble game, one of the teams used the word 'Qi' to win the game. I didn't know what that word meant at the time. So, I looked it up today. It turns out that 'Qi' means 'cheating at Scrabble'. How appropriate! = )

Disc Golf With Nikko Locastro

I got to play disc golf with Nikko Locastro today on my home course, Brian McClain DGC. He's the current #1 pro player in the USA. He seemed like a cool guy. And, it goes without saying, he's an awesome player. His drives are at least 150 feet longer than mine. Also, he hit every tight shot at McClain. He shot a 24 on the front 9 and something close to a 50 overall. It was a ton of fun playing with him and it's nice that he'll play a round with three recreational disc golfers.
